At CPSLift.com, we offer both static and dynamic load testing for access equipment, forklift trucks and other equipment. We offer this as a standalone service and also after extensive repairs carried out at our major repair centre. Load testing is an important final step to confirm the equipment’s integrity, safe working condition, and conformity before re-commissioning it.
Load testing is usually required after we carry out any of the following work:
- Boom rope/boom chain replacements
- Slew ring replacements
- Extensive boom repairs, resprays, and/or re-builds
- Re-mounting of the vehicle, van, or truck
- Replacement of structural components
This process involves the stipulated test load, load test procedures, and associated criteria, with our engineers following each of these items to the letter.
All load testing we carry out takes place within our purpose built major repair centre that has been designed to be able to safely accommodate both small and large access equipment.
Integration of Load Testing Within Major Repairs
Because we carry out load testing on-site, this process fits in nicely with our other major repair services. As a result, we can save you time because there is no need to move and test equipment elsewhere prior to using it.
A typical major repair process includes:
- Completion of major repairs/mechanical work
- Pre-test equipment inspection
- Static load testing
- Dynamic load testing
- Final inspections and release
