Us

Central Platform Services Ltd, based near Pontefract, West Yorkshire, was established in February 2008 by the Burton brothers John and Neil. Between them they have over 40 years experience in the Powered Access Industry and their continued dedication and commitment to providing an exceptional level of service has allowed the company to expand its workforce to a team of mobile skilled engineers, workshop and office staff.

Expansion

In 2021, the company moved from its previous 8,000 ft² workshop to a brand new 10,000 ft² head office and engineering facility situated in the newly built South Kirkby Business Park. With 10 meters of internal headroom, the building has provided significant benefits to the company’s operations and continues to allow us to carry out all types of major repairs, servicing and refurbishment of access equipment and Smartlift glazing robots whilst providing on site mobile engineering support for both old and new customers.
