CPSLift.com Achieves Hire Association Europe (HAE) Membership

We are pleased to announce that Hire Association Europe (HAE) has formally accepted Central Platform Service Ltd (CPSLift.com) as an active member of the HAE hire community.

HAE has a long and well-established association currently serving over 800 plant hire companies across the UK, Europe, and other parts of the world. HAE was formed in 1974 and is an industry-leading trade body representing plant hire and other tool/equipment hire.

SafeHire Certification Scheme

HAE Hire Certification Services is a division of the HAE and is responsible for conducting SafeHire Certification Audits to ensure that all members are committed to achieving the Industry Leading Private Standard which is mandatory. The SafeHire annual audit will delve into our hire systems and processes and offer guidance on developing and improving our internal processes and enable us to assess and evaluate business risks and implement the necessary control measures to ensure that they are effectively and economically managed, continually improving our business.

We don’t know when our first audit is right now, but we look forward to opening our doors to the SafeHire team and look forward to any advice which may help us improve our systems. This process can only be beneficial to us and our customers.

HireSecure and Loss & Damage Waiver

As part of our HAE membership, we will now be offering HireSecure cover to our customers. This product will be required for customers who do not have their own insurance or those customers whose insurance does not cover the equipment value to be hired.

HireSecure will be charged with the addition of a Loss & Damage Waiver. By selecting the Waiver, customers have to agree to the HAE Hire Secure and Loss & Damage Waiver terms and conditions of hire, together with the terms and conditions of Central Platform Services Ltd.

This is not an insurance product that the customer purchases but is a contractual arrangement that removes their responsibility in the event of loss or damage to the hired equipment. This can provide peace of mind for those customers who do not have their own insurance or the appropriate level of cover.

HAE membership will help to transform the hire and rental service that we currently offer. It not only helps to safeguard our investment in expensive access equipment, compact loaders, mini diggers, and glass lifting equipment but also offers peace of mind to our customers.

HireSecure allows us ‘the hire company’ to offer our range of scissor lifts, cherry pickers, mini diggers, compact loaders and glazing robots for hire to small businesses or consumers alike who traditionally do not have their own hired in plant insurance. This works by adding a small percentage to a hire and collecting an excess fee (usually £500) which is fully refundable on return of the hired equipment (providing there is no damage of course). This transaction is quick and easy for our back office to administrate and reduces any risk to the uninsured hirer.
