Position – Paint Sprayer & Preparation

Area – Workshop based

Hours – 8am – 17:30 Monday – Friday, however, must be flexible to work overtime and extended hours where required to meet the business needs

Salary – Competitive

Annual Holiday Entitlement – 30 days including bank holidays

We are currently looking for a painter to join our organisation to work in our newly built paintshop. The ideal candidate will have the ability to prepare and paint various types of equipment, mainly plant ranging from the smallest of components to complete vehicle repaints within a required timescale with a good quality finish first time.

Skills Required:

  • Experience with painting Vehicle/Plant
  • Excellent attention to detail, right-first-time attitude
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Good communicator both verbally and written
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
  • Ability to work well with minimal supervision
  • Preparing paint spraying equipment
  • Preparation of bodywork prior to painting
  • Mixing paints to the right colour and consistency
  • Applying several coats were required including primers, colours and protective finishes
  • Maintaining and cleaning equipment, paintshop and areas associated with activity
  • Storing of paints/materials in the correct location and conditions
  • Managing inventory of paints, equipment and associated consumables
  • Ability to follow safety processes and procedures
